Living, writing, performing are all aspects of the Stroud literary scene are captured in a collection of photographs which will be shown in the Space Gallery.

Local photographers Georgie Brocklehurst, Cyril Laffort, Helen Green, Sylvain Guenot and Fred Chance all have very different styles and approaches to their subjects but have developed a growing respect for each others work through events and exhibitions organised by PhotoStroud. They have agreed to exhibit their work together as part of a series of events throughout April which PhotoStroud are promoting under the general title of Words and Pictures.

'French Connection' - A live performance by Jeff Cloves and Dan Hayon

During the course of this exhibition there will be a live performance of the book ‘French Connection’ which was a collaboration between Stroud poet Jeff Cloves and Romanian photographer Dan Hayon. Dan will be visiting Stroud from his home in Paris to project his photographs onto a screen whilst Jeff performs his work. This event will take place on the evening of Wednesday April 8 and you should ring the Space for details.
